We are honored to have helped serve the people of Iowa County with lots of laughs, competitions, friendships, and memories over the years! It’s because of people like you who keep our county fair possible and we want to extend a sincere Thank You.
We enjoy every bit of working with you and helping us put on a successful labor day weekend event for the last 163 years.
Welcome Iowa County Fair Enthusiast! My name is Laura Gray and I am honored to serve as your 2018 Iowa County Fairest of the Fair. I am looking forward to the wonderful opportunity that lies ahead of me getting to know Iowa County and all it has to offer. I am the 20 year old daughter of Lori Gray. Currently I am attending the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, majoring in Agriculture Business with a minor in Dairy Science. I am in my third year here, and highly active as the secretary for Sigma Alpha-Beta Zeta, a professional women in agriculture sorority. I have also had the opportunity to help re-start our National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) Student Chapter this past fall on campus and currently serve as the Vice President. When not found studying in school you could find me on my family’s dairy farm, Grunenwald Farms, outside of Livingston, WI, or hanging out with family and friends. I have grown a strong passion for agriculture through the farm as well as the beautiful bovine cow. Over the years I have had the opportunity to participate in many 4-H activities and can not wait to promote Iowa County 4-H’s youth. I look forward to meeting many of you throughout my year as Fairest!
I do not know what else to add. If you have any ideas please let me know and I will gladly supply the information! I would also like to apologize I am typing this with a migraine. So if my grammar is off or my words do not sound right, that is to blame, as it happens all the time.
