APPLICATION TO EXHIBIT AT THE IOWA COUNTY FAIR
The following terms and conditions shall apply.
VIOLATION of any of these terms SHALL CANCEL this PERMIT.

Applications, payment and insurance proof due by August 26, 2008

1. This permit does not allow subletting of space nor is it transferable.
2. The exhibitor accepts full responsibility for all liabilities for damages to person or property arising out of his/her use and occupancy of these premises.
3. The Iowa County Fair will not be responsible for any loss by theft, fire, accident, or act of God.
4. The cost of inspection fees and special phone fees are to be borne by the exhibitor. Commercial building exhibitors have access to a limited number of tables and chairs.
5. The applicant shall not interfere with other exhibitors by activity beyond the spaces rented or by nuisances such as excessive volume on a public address system, musical instruments, etc.
6. Posting of self adhering stickers will not be allowed to any fair grounds property, either permanent or temporary, or to a vehicle upon the fair grounds.
7. The Iowa County Fair Board reserves the right to cancel or deny any application by refunding the deposit and indicating the reason for the cancellation or denial. There will be no refunds of deposits except by cancellation or denial of the application or by full approval of the Fair Board. Checks returned NSF will automatically cancel permit.
8. The Fair reserves the right to assign booth location, and will take into account the preference, if any, of the Exhibitor.
9. Only vehicles ABSOLUTELY needed to hold inventory will be allowed to remain in the display area during normal exhibit hours. Vehicles used for overnight accommodation in the exhibit area will be assessed a camping fee equal to that charged in our camp area.
10. Exhibitors at the Iowa County Fair shall not sell, or allow to be sold any sharp instrument which includes but not limited to throwing stars, knives, chains, dads, etc. or any firearms of any description, dangerous weapons or explosives without the prior approval of the Fair.
11. Commercial exhibit buildings and outside exhibit area hours are 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday through Sunday and 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Commercial building exhibitors must be torn down by 4:00 p.m. on Monday. In fairness to all exhibitors and the public, all exhibits should be staffed during the hours previously stated. Outside exhibits may remain open until the ridgway closes. Food concessions may remain open each night until it is no longer profitable. If you are applying for a food concession, you will need to meet the State Department of HeaIth or Agriculture standards.
12. Outside exhibitors may set up on Tuesday and Wednesday or from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Food concessions should be set up and ready for state inspection by 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Commercial building exhibitors may begin setting up on Wednesday. All exhibits must be set up and ready to open by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
13. Rental fee shall include access to electricity and two fair passes.
14. The applicant agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Iowa County Fair, its Board of Directors, and its employees from any and all claims brought by anyone arising from the Iowa County Fair, including but not limited to, claims arising out of constructions, operations, maintenance, supervision, inspection or use of any buildings or grounds at the Iowa County Fair Grounds.
15.
Each Contractor shall obtain and keep in force until completion of the "project," including set up and tear down, a commercial general liability insurance contract with liability limits equal to or greater than $1,000,000 each occurrence. The contractor shall provide a certificate of insurance to the Iowa County Fair evidencing such coverage within ten days of the signed contract. Such Contractor shall name Iowa County Fair as an Additional Insured.
Hold Harmless/Indemnification: Contractor shall be solely responsible for any and all injuries to persons or damages of property or any other injury, claim, damage or loss of whatever nature, arising directly or
indirectly from the "project." Contractor shall INDEMNIFY, SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS Iowa County Fair and its employees, agents and volunteers from and against all liability, loss, damages, claims, costs and expenses (including attorney fees) arising out of injury to person or damages to property or any other injury, claim, damage, loss, cost or expense arising from the "project."
16. Commercial building spaces are 8 ft. wide by 10 ft. deep, Outside spaces are 15 frontage feet, Exhibitors may purchase additional frontage feet for $5.00/foot.
