Fairest of the Fair 2017

Kara Hutter
Hello everyone! My name is Kara Hutter and I am proud to have been selected as the 2017 Iowa
County Fairest of the Fair. I look forward to meeting many of you as I serve Iowa County’s
agriculture industry this year.
I grew up in Spring Green and I am the youngest daughter of William and Tracie Hutter. In
2016, I graduated from River Valley High School where I was active in cheerleading,
gymnastics, National Honor Society, Forensics, and FFA. I am currently a freshman at the
University of Wisconsin-Platteville where I am majoring in Agriculture Education but intend on
studying veterinary medicine to become a large animal veterinarian. On campus I am involved
in Collegiate FFA, Block and Bridle Club, and Pre-Vet Club.
2017 will be my sixth and final year exhibiting swine at the Iowa County Fair. While I began
showing swine as a member of the Coon Rock 4-H, I currently exhibit through the River Valley
FFA. In just a short time it will be Labor Day weekend and I can’t wait to see the entries Iowa
County’s Youth will exhibit. But until then, may all your days be Fair Days!
