We are honored to have helped serve the people of Iowa County with lots of laughs, competitions, friendships, and memories over the years! It’s because of people like you who keep our county fair possible and we want to extend a sincere Thank You.
We enjoy every bit of working with you and helping us put on a successful labor day weekend event for the last 160 years.
Hello! My name is Molly Hendrickson and I am the 2016 Iowa County Fairest of the Fair! This will be my 11th year as 4-H member and exhibitor in the Blue Ribbon 4-H Club. I currently show dairy, rabbits, cats, home environment, photography, field crops, veterinary science, communications, and youth leadership projects. I was also a member of the Iowa County 4-H Ambassadors, where I was on the H-Team in 2014-2015. It will be great seeing the fair this year from a different point of view because I have always been just an exhibitor. I grew up in southeastern Iowa County, near Hollandale and attended Pecatonica High School. During high school, I was involved in volleyball, basketball, softball, Future Problem Solvers, and FFA. I danced through the Betty Hayes School of Dance for 15 years. I am currently attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I am a freshman, and majoring in Dairy Science and Life Sciences Communication. I am involved in the Association of Women in Agriculture, Badger Dairy Club, and the National Agri-Marketing Association. Outside of school, I enjoy skiing and showing cows. I grew up working with cows on my uncle’s dairy farm, STA-ASH Holsteins, just two miles up the road from my house. I have been showing at the Iowa County Fair for 10 years and the Wisconsin State Fair for six years. I am excited to represent Iowa County and can’t wait to see everyone at the 160th Iowa County Fair.
